Patent secured: introducing the MORDE

A bucket that grips pipes and lets you carry on digging: MORDE was born from talking to the people who work on site every day.

Close collaboration and ongoing dialogue with our customers have produced a new idea: MORDE. It is a special bucket, developed from a real site need: reducing the physical strain on operators when they have to lift pipes for the work.

Gripping pipes with the excavator

MORDE fits on the excavator and grips pipes just like a clamp. The machine takes over the handling, easing a task that site crews repeat over and over.

Keep digging without changing buckets

On top of gripping, it can also dig, for example small drainage channels, without swapping the bucket. Combining both functions means you can switch from handling pipes to these tasks with the same attachment.

The time and effort it saves operators led Dai Prà to apply for a patent. The original article announces that the patent has been granted, not merely filed.

To see the attachment and learn more about how it is used, view the MORDE product page or contact Dai Prà.
